Thank you so much for this information Deborah. I thought that I may have missed you as previous posts were many years ago which I didn't realise when I made the post . Its a shame Orton records pre 1745 are not available on line as there seems to have been several of us looking for the same information.

Hi Deborah
Is it possible to look up whether there are records for a baptism for a James Stubbs in Orton in October 1720. His father should be Thomas. Is a mother recorded? Also baptismal records for Christopher Stubbs in 1723, Margaret in 1725, Thomas in 1728 ans John in 1731.
