Hi. Is this what you got off of the website at the National Archivesmonsstar who is on this site may be able to help,hes a researcher at kew,and hes very cheap,the above info is from the medal index cards,so he was given medal

you will get both cards for the price of one,they will be on the same sheet.BS,the one who was a serjeant could have been a acting serjeant or a lance serjeant,a lance sgt is a corporal who is waiting for the next available sgts vacancy to come up,he would be allowed to wear 3 stripes but he would still be paid corporals pay,i think cas has found your men,mack

Arthur L Skeats served in both wars, WWI & WWII, if he continued his service yrs right through, would he take the same service number, would you think ?
