Thank you all for you input. I think I can safely assume that Harveys mother was an unmarried Jane Vincent (unknown father) and not Mary as I had wondered

Harvey was born c1890. Birth date not known but he died 1917 aged 27

Thank you all.  William and Charlotte Wild were Harveys Grandparents.  There is no information about his mother or father. Kiwimacca

I am trying to trace the birth parents of Harvey Wild who was killed at Passchendale during WWI.  It lists his next of kin as Charlotte Wild of Waimate (Harveys Grandmother) New Zealand but can find no record of his mother or father.  I have a connection with Mary Wild/Vincent from Waimate who was Charlottes daughter and was wondering if Mary was Harveys mother?  Mary was the mother of my Grandmother Alice Vincent/Benbow/Hopkinson.  Many thanks kiwimacca 9 March 2023

I would be interested to know the parents of Harvey Wild who was killed at Passchendale during WWI.  It lists his next of kin as his grandmother Charlotte Wild of Waimate New Zealand but I can no record of his birth parents. It is a long shot with nothing to back it up but could his mother have been Mary Wild/Vincent? ( Daughter of Charlotte Wild) With Mary Wild/Vincents chequed record been well documented I believe it could have been possible.  Does anyone have any info that would shed light on possible parents. Any info would be much appreciated, thanking you Kiwimacca

I have just found this thread and followed with great interest.  My Grandmother was Alice Vincent/Benbow/Hopkinson.  Mary Vincent (Joseph Vincent's wife) was the mother of Alice as a result of a liaison? with a Daniel Low.  I have very little information on Mary and Daniel (and Joseph for that matter), as children we were always led to believe that Alice's parents died in a car accident? I would be very keen to know more of Mary and Joseph and there children.  Thank you 9 March 2023
