Thanks, I did think it may be fruitless but thought it was worth a try at least.

I am able to trace most of the Heaverns in the area and have a good bit of what I think is Laura’s line.  other than where exactly she fits in and those around her. I was hoping she could fill me in with the more recent generation in her line.

James and Annie you mentioned are my 3x great grandparents. My grandfather was raised in Ballyness and I still live locally.

Thanks,
Niall

Hi Laura,

Hoping you still monitor this thread, but I'd be interested in getting in contact about the Heavern/Heaveron families of Ballyness/Dungiven. My mother was Heaveron and I have traced 99% of the Heavern's in the Dungiven area.

I think I may have also found you on ancestry so I have dropped you a message on there too.

Thanks,
Niall

Hi Barbara, hoping on the off chance that you still monitor this thread. But I also descend from the Redgate's of Aughil. Margaret Redgate from the Griffiths Valuation would be my 5x great grandmother and I descend through her daughter Elizabeth who married James Doherty.

I'd be interested if you photograph is of my 4x great grandmother Elizabeth (1824 - 1902) and if you have any more information on the Redgates.

Thanks,
Niall
