Walter was my 4th Great Grandfather. Here is a blurb on Gore - from a book on Essex County. I have a fair amount of information gathered on the history back - and happy to share.

Walter, son of Gore - also had a son named Gore. He passed in Ontario - not sure if that is the one you are seeing.
