the text says ‘Peruke’, I think, rather that ‘Paruke’. Compare the ‘a’ and ‘e’ in Charles.

Yes I agree  :)

Thanks a lot!

Hi Les,

I have found a document on The national Archives about my ancestors MACKADAM from London.
I don't know who were Mary and Garrat FITZGERALD. I'm trying to understand what was the link with Mackadam family .
See a small extract from this document.
Tell me if you want the full document.
Regards
Patrick

Hi,

I'm interested by this "Garret FITZGERALD" circa 1700.
Maybe he was the same as I have in my document .
Mary Fitzgerald was his wife in 1715. She (or they ) was living in Covent Garden, Charles street. County of Middlesex.
The name of her husband is Garrat FITZGERALD.

Do you have any informations?
Thank you
Patrick

London and Middlesex / Re: Do you think I can find out more about this marriage?

Note that this is a marriage licence, not a marriage. Three possible parishes are given for the marriage - the license was only "good" for those parishes. If you can't find the marriage in one of those, they may not have ended up actually marrying.

On a license, there was a bond to pay if it turned out false info was given. The allegation (affadavit) refers to the information given, and the person(s) alleging were putting themselves up for a serious financial penalty.  Normally a relative or close friend of the groom.

Here, Thomas Mackadam  could be any sort of relative, father, uncle, older brother, grandfather of Daniel.

Thank you for your clear answer

Hi
There is a Stephen Soulard on the lad tax records for London in 1692 at St Peter le Poer
Also in the parish ; He was my ancestor
Stephen Sollart buried 8.9.1687 in the vault. Maybe a family member?
Mrs Soullard buried 25th May 1694 in the vault. She was also in my tree

Just in case they fit. Thanks
