Thank you again, I had the sibling, it was Thomas and his wife Emily who I was missing.  I could find an obituary for Emily in the Winnipeg Free Press, but it's not so free being behind a paywall.  I appreciate what you have fund for me.
Thank you
Stuart

1931, under Davis. Son is now 6:

Thank you so very much, I hadn't got so far as children...an added bonus.  The misspelling as Davis was how I located death records in England for Thomas Davies' parents.  I think I found an obituary for Emily in the Winnipeg Free Press 1984 14th March, p 66?, but it's behind a pay wall alas.  But I really am chuffed with what you found and shared,  Illuminating.
Thank you again
Stuart

Canada / Emily Davies, possibly Manitoba

Hi everyone
I have located detail for Thomas Davies who died at Winnipeg, Manitoba 30 September 1975, but I cannot trace his wife Emily Jane Davies.  They migrated from England in the 1920s, having married in 1917 at Liskeard, Cornwall.  She was born Emily Jane Pascoe in 1891.  I have located a death for Emily Davies in Manitoba in 1923, but is easily discounted as a death notice reveals she was wife of Herbert R. Davies.
Can anyone offer any suggestions, researching from Australia.
Best regards

FreeBMD has the entry (but not the detail!)

And the devil is in the detail!  Thanks for the look-up, I have been able to access the date thanks to the generosity of browsers on RootsChat.
All the best,
Stuart

The only additional info  was that the marriage was on 24 Oct at Wisbech
Woo hoo Kay!  You're a star!  Thank you so very much, it has filled in one small gap, and that is a wondrous thing in my little world.  I really appreciate your time and generosity.
Every best wish,
Stuart

Hello everyone
Bit of a nerve I know, but I have discovered a wedding announcement via online newspaper access, but the image or detail is behind a paywall and I am loathe (and cheap) to subscribe for just one record.
If anyone has access to the Peterborough Standard (Cambridgeshire, England), there is reference to a marriage for David Culy & Mary Walker on page 8 of the November 3rd 1888 issue.  I am hoping some kindly soul might access it and reveal the detail that the notice contains.
I'd be every so grateful, really, I would.
Thanks in abundance in anticipation.
Best regards

Could this be your man?
Minniehaha.
Indeed it is!  He and his brother John served in WWI.

I would say coincidental they are in same cemetery.
I concur, Edward was one of 4 sons and 1 daughter, one son died as a child, one as a young adult and another married with one daughter, but thank you for your continued searches.  Much appreciated!

I can’t tell so far if those other Rohrs are connected.
I am also unsure of any connection, but if there is, it might be lost in time.  The Rohrs I am tracking were via Jersey in the Channel Islands, but appeared very Anglicized, they were from England and migrated to Australia in 1906 and hence to elsewhere and have left few descendants!
Cheers
Stuart
