Yes the Mary Anne the person listed as the informant is my great grandmother. We must be related.
Where in the world are you?

Sorry when I meant Mary, I meant Mary Ann McGrory Cassidy's daughter Mary Cassidy. She died unmarried aged 28.    Not sure of birth or death dates though.

Sorry Mike,

That last sentence should say Peter McGrory. Michael McGrory his brother died on the very last day of the WW1, November 12th and he is buried in Belgium. My father's first cousin has got his military medal in her possession. Their sister Mary Ann McGrory had a grandson called Michael.

Meghan,

we are related because Mary Ann was my great grandmother. I would love so more information.

I would like some information on what happened to Michael Cassidy. Mary Ann McGrory married John Cassidy from Co. Monaghan and they had nine children,  one of whom was Edward Cassidy, my grandfather. He died in this 30's leaving behind one son

Hello,

I know these posts are dated but my name is Linda and the McGrory family are my ancestors. I am currently working on my genealogy and one of the McGrory's died in the Great war. I would like some additional information on them.
