Fermanagh / Elizabeth Goodwin of Stripe Fermanagh
« on: Tuesday 16 July 24 14:34 BST (UK)  »
I am hoping to find a living relative of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Goodwin, born 1889, Tattykeenan, Fermanagh
immigrated to USA 1910 from Stripe, Mullaghfad. Returned 1913 for brother Owen 18, sister Mary 22.
Her father was James Goodwin, married Martha Johnston 1884 in Tempo. She had brothers John, James and Patrick. Would be most grateful for any info

It is always kind of people to respond, and I am always indebted. However no reply has as yet answered the question I posed.

rosie99 many thanks. aghadowey is correct he was named for his father, born 1st Feb 1892. I believed he served in the navy during WW 1 and was part of the evacuation of Gallipoli. Can I ask are there any more details of inscription or a photo. I have been looking since 2018 believing he had returned to Northern Ireland.

Fermanagh / Beauclere William Henry Crozier

Beauclere William Henry Crozier (Bill) born Newtownbutler Fermanagh (Clones Union) 1910. Emirated to New Zealand via London Nov. 1948. From a prominent Feramanagh family with a history including the High Sherriff of Fermanagh, JPs, and very high ranking clergy. Anything on his schooling and occupation until his leaving Ireland would be great.

Attached hopefully is a photo of the gravestone of John Wilson Donald, I believe born In Donegore County Antrim. Any info on the location would be great.

At the base "with deepest sympathy" "also her grandson Johnny"

I am at risk of maybe causing offence but below CATHERINE BIRD , I think it reads
"amusement caterer of " can't make out the last word which ends "ors ."
Below the date words appear to be in italics so may be a quotation

Could this make any sense?
