I noticed an error in my last message:

I found a marriage certificate for Julia Ann and Charles with a "Richard Fitzgerald" listed as Julia Ann's father.  It appears to be the same family tree.

Hi Anna,

I hope you are well.
I'm new to tracing ancestry.

I started tracing my ancestry a few months ago, although I benefited from my cousin’s dedicated work.  On the Fitzgerald/McCarthy side, I've been able to authentically trace back to my great grandparents, Julia Ann Fitzgerald who married Charles McCarthy.
Juli(a) Ann McCarthy (Fitzgerald) (1877 -1957)
Charles McCarthy (1873-1947).

Your post caught my attention as I was exploring the Fitzgerald ancestry.  I found a marriage certificate for Julia Ann and Charles with a Richard McCarthy listed as Julia Ann's parent.  It appears to be the same family tree.

My grandmother, Josephine P McCarthy, is one of 8 children of Julia Ann and Charles McCarthy.

I mentioned your post to my aunt Linda (who lives in the US and is a daughter of Josephine P McCarthy) a few weeks ago.  Josephine P McCarthy traveled to the United States at a young age.  My father is a son of Josephine P McCarthy

Linda mentioned that you might have reached out to her a few years ago about the Fitzgerald gathering.  Linda changed her email so unfortunately she doesn't have access to your message anymore.

Does this seem like the same family tree as your great grandfather, Richard Fitzgerald.
