Have you given the full background searches that have been found for this lady and family on other forums, a lot of work has been done by others and it would be a shame to have the work duplicated.

It's good to link to other forums where you have requested help, it saves duplication of effort by those who are willing to go out of their way to help.

Have you updated your previous post to the effect that you now have the information you require and also that you have had an offer of somebody visiting the cemetery to take a photograph for you or perhaps a few people could all go and do this for you, unknowingly.

Sadly you didn't give any details of who you were searching for.  We wouldn't have known the one YOU wanted was born 1795.

He lives just round the corner, why don't you just ask him?

I can find Mary Chelmicks on every census but they are obviously not yours.  Perhaps it would be a good idea to give us a few clues - maybe when they married? where they married? and quite importantly which censuses you have them and their family on, giving full details of their age and birthplaces so that we have a few facts.  Then what information would you like? ie earlier censuses/birth/baptisms etc.

You mention checking all sites online that have the registers transcribed, but have you ever looked at them yourself - or the film to see the actual document?  Do you know whether the pages are actually legible or complete?

Could the missing entry simply be a missing or damaged illegible page?

You might keep an eye on this http://liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10223 as somebody else seems to be looking for the same information

These would not be the same people.

For living people you really need to be searching in a local newspaper etc. perhaps there is an Old Pals Section.  If there were any information I don't think it should be posted on an open forum.

If you were to obtain a marriage certificate for either of them you would be able to ascertain the father's name.

If you give me a day or two I'll nip around and ask them for you.
