Hi Jimmy
Thnak you so much for responding.
I am struggling to understand how this system works but I have responded to you on a different thread! I said in my reply that I haven't had contact with any of the Collier family other than my grandmother and mother. My grandmother was Bob's second wife (following the death of his first wife Daisy) and they just had 1 child together my mother. They parted in the 1940s so I have never had contact with my mother's half sisters - or their families. Its odd such a huge family and yet our part is tiny. As someone joked at my wedding, if the reception was my family only, I could have held it in a telephone box!!

Hi Jimmy

Lovely surprise to hear from someone, as I could see that the thread was 10 years old! You are the first member of my mother's family I have ever had communication with- bar my grandmother who died in 1985 and my mother. I'm guessing you may be in Carlow but mum and I have always lived in the UK.

Hi
I'm new to the site and wondering if any of the relatives of Richard and Kate Collier (nee Perrot) are still active. They are my great grandparents, Robert (Bob) Collier being my grandfather. Beth

Hi I'm new to this site and I can see that these posts about Richard & Kate Collier (nee Perrot) are quite old so I am not sure whether any of the family will see this message. But they are my great grandparents, Robert (Bob) Collier their son being my grandfather. Beth
