Does any one know of any Puckett surname in England from the 1600's 
I have searched and researched this name and I have had no results.
My 12th Great Grand Father came from England in the mid 1600's as from were in England, no ones that I know of knows. He was a Headright and I know he recived 500 acres of land in Henrico Co., Virginia from the Crown.
Next question: Does any one know were the records are that would have the information as to who granted this land and when and were

Please let me know any thing that will help me find were my great grandfather comes from. I need to jump the big pond and I would like to do it befor I give up the ghost
