Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Thaxted parish records - can anyone help me?
« on: Tuesday 13 March 07 23:36 GMT (UK)  »
Just wanted to make contact as I am also searching for records in Thaxted regarding a a miller, Frank Neville. Frank had a daughter born in 1864, so he was likely born in the 1930s. As we're searching in the same area, we may come across records which would help the other. I'll keep an eye out for your family, and maybe you would do the same for me?

Thanks, Joe, I understand about the ancestry.com thing - I thought I was just being slow with FamilySearch. No luck, i think, but thanks very much for your help.

Thank you very much. joe Jones is a possible relative - is there an age and occupation? And does this mean that there is no information for No 18?

Thanks very much for your help,

Lancashire Lookup Requests / 1881 census - address lookup
« on: Friday 27 January 06 13:16 GMT (UK)  »
Is anyone able to check 1881 census by address? If so, could you let me know who lived at 18 Sefton Square, Toxteth Park?

I have a death recorded here in 1880, but the wodower has a different address in the 1881 census, so am hoping to pick up some other members of the family, who could help me sort out my Ellis/Jones problems - just too many of them!

Brilliant! I have some details of the death, but haven't been able to locate a death certificate. Finding the marriage is a stroke of genius: I have Janet's parents, but no details at all for her husband John, where I was having real trouble because it's such a common name. Thanks a million.

VERY many thanks - there's another little gap plugged. she was dead by the 1881 census, so it's good to pick her up where at all possible, especially as it was a major family migration.

Dear Alli,

Many thanks for that info. Pembrokeshireis certainly right for my Janet Jones. Is it possible to have addresses or other members of the household for the 1861 census?

Devon Completed Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 Census - 16 Mount Street, Devonport

Thanks very much: this is my family all right. I didn't know about the existence of the younger Elizabeth. They don't seem to be very original choosing their names, do they?!

Devon Completed Lookup Requests / 1841 Census - 16 Mount Street, Devonport

If anyone has access to 1841 census, i would much appreciate a lookup for the occupants of 16 Mount Street, Devonport.

I have a Humphry Betty (shipwright) registered as dying there in 1845, and by 1851 my g g gfather (whom I am guessing to be his brother, having the same name and occupation) is living there. I would love to try and connect these two.

Thanks,

Sue
