Hooray,
I've found my great-grandmother's grave. I visited St Kentigerns this week along with 3 family members who came from Ireland. After over 2 hours of searching and help from 2 grave diggers we found it.
We were very overwhelmed.
My next question is does anyone know how to find out who owns the deeds??and can you find out who would have erected the headstone??

Yeah it really is hard to work that one out.

Thank you Andrew,
The details I was provided with from family in Ireland were Lair 4/2167 so I'm presuming the 4 is section four and the plot number is 2167.
I have found the records and my great grandmother was the first in April 1900 then 3 more great Uncles, I just can't work out one name, I think a great auntie, Ann or Annie but might be totally wrong.

Hi All helpful posters,
I'm trying to find out if my great grandmother has a headstone. She was buried at St Kentigerns in 1900.
I believe some of St Kentigerns Catholic Cemetery-Maryhill headstones were destroyed?? at some point,??
If so would anyone know if there were particular Lairs?
My great grandmother Susan McAdam was buried in Lair 4 /2167 I believe alongside 4 other family members. I would love to know if they had a headstone and if not I would wish to hopefully arrange one.
I'm aware I would need permission from the owner but not sure if the deeds have expired.
I have emailed the Council and await a reply,
Thanks in advance
