Hi everyone
I am trying to find out any information I can about a building called Lamb Hall which stood on Lamb Hall Road, Longwood, Huddersfield HD3 from at least 1859 till the 1920s+
Several of my ancestors were born there or died there.
I tried visiting the site of it a few years ago and found were it would have been but it is no more. I can't find any photos of it either. Does anyone else have ancestors that are connected with it please? My ancestors include Dan Brook (who married Elizabeth Beaumont in 1858) and his son Joe Brook (who married Agnes Brook in 1883 I think). Both were in the Flock Dealer trade which I'm guessing is selling wool as a profession? They seem to have done well from it to be living in Lamb Hall anyway! :-)
If anyone has any info about Lamb Hall I would appreciate you sharing it.
Many thanks
Sarah
