There is a connection still here and last year we had a gathering in Arigna to present the research of Dr David Cullen, if you are not in touch you should be. we both visited the remains of Patricks house, it is tumbledown now but i can claim to have slept in it as a child. I live in Northern Ireland now. if you send me your email in a private message i will put you in touch with David. anyway to wet your appetite here is a picture taken at the house in Glen Ballynashee

There is no definitive proof that by 2 ggf was the Patrick son of the convict but I am positively DNA linked to the Australian descendants, so in probability it is. Coincidentally my grandmother (Mary Kate McPadden) was born in the house that your ancestor lived in, it is still standing, I have pictures and it can be found on Google Earth ..Anyway most of this is not my work, I need to send you the docs, but not sure we can exchange emails here,
Gmail maybe. I need to send attachment too large for here.

Henrietta I realise this is an old post, I have the information you are looking for, not my own work but everything you are asking for is very well documented down to his living ancestors now. What is your connection?
