Aghadowey.
Thank you
I will go back through all my old information and see if I can find anything on Edward’s other wife…I can’t remember if she was 1st or2nd but remember hearing something about her……presuming my memory is not worse than I think 😩

I really appreciate the time that all of you have taken to help my trace of Edward McMaster
Burning the midnight oil at the moment to sift through and cross check all the data and dates.

Aghadowey,
I’ve gone through the old post you have and it’s all connecting to the person I know as Edward McMaster definitely called Ned by people who knew him but didn’t have any history.
I’m certain he was married twice but one marriage produce no children.  Am I to understand that dates aren’t always exact as in one census age can be a few years out from the following census.
In danger of tying myself in knots here 😀
Intrigued by your ref to knowledge of further McMasters. Would be interested to peruse that if allowed and possible.
Many thanks for all your help.

Thanks to everyone for your info.
Seems I am on the right track..
Marriage information was useful.   I believe Edward (known to me as Ned) was married twice.
To Sarah Harte and to Sarah Hull (unsure of this second name) there were no children from that marriage.
The children from marriage to Sarah Harte is correct.
Would be very interested in any knowledge of Edward’s father Archibald or his mother .
Regards

Grateful thanks for all replies, some of which I recognise as correct and other possibilities.
Renewed my interest to keep digging.
Also trying to locate burial record and /or place of Samuel Robinson Glenn in 1935
Died as 5 month old baby….can’t recall exact date but will check that out.  This would be my baby brother …most other  family graves are to be found mainly in Kilraughts and Old Kilraughts graveyard
Again many thanks to everyone

It’s Robert Glenn .
As far as I know my grandfather was married at Greenock in Scotland (possibly 1884) aged 22..may have been Gretna Green…his wife was Ellen Hartin.. they had a large family and lived in Drones area in Co. Antrim..I’m interested in his father also Robert Glenn whose wife’s name may be Jane Wilson but can find no great detail on either one of them. Would be interested in their burial place. …Robert senior was already dead when his son got married.
