Hi, I am trying to find further details of Simon Sandys from Longford Militia who died in 1798 at the Battle of Vinegar Hill. I was wondering if anyone had details of his family tree. I wonder if he is linked to my Family of Sandys of Roscommon.

Elizabeth Sandys was my 3rd GG. She was married 9 Jan 1823 in Castlerea to John St John. Trying to find out when she was born and died. She was the daughter of John Percy Sandys.
