Could someone look up George Alfred A. Dawson who died 28 Jan 1940 in Derby. I do not know if he left a will. What I am intersted in finding out is his second middle name. I have a copy of his Birth certificate but the name is indistinct. Also his second middle name is not recorded on either his Marriage certificate or his death certificate!

Thanks

David

The Henry that I was interested in was a tenant at the Brewery Tap Public House: 14 North Bridge Street, Shefford between 1822 and 1837. He wrote his will in 1837 and died shortly afterwards. I had hoped that was buried in Campton. However, could be anywhere.

Thank you,

David

Hi,

I have an Ellen Anthony nee Sowter,  who married a William Collumbell, in 1840.  I have copy of their Marriage certificate. Does anyone know exactly which William Collumbell it was and what became of them subsequently?

Hi Sally,

Ticknall is very close to the Leicestershire border. James married a woman from Hemington close to Castle Donington and married in Castle Donington. So could it be that he appears in the census for Leicestershire?

Thanks for looking  :)

Hello again,

I have found the IGI record for James and Sarah's wedding which states James's fathers name as John WHEELDON. Could someone take a look at the 1841 census to see if there are any likely suspects?
