I'm new to the forum.
I have come across Shutlane Head in my research of the Shubotham's, who farmed there from around 1850.
Shutlane Head can be found off the A53 south of Newcastle under Lyme a few miles from Whitmore. It is located in the very northern bounds of the parish of Swynnerton.
Today it consists of some quite expensive housing with grounds, housing that looks as though it has been renovated and extended from much older farms buildings.
It is certainly worth looking at via google maps street view.
