Thankyou for the welcome.

I only came across this post by chance, doing a quick Google search for Parran.

A shame I didn't see it way back when I could have knocked down Mummikins' brick wall then.

Parran's younger brother Joseph MINORS was described on Census and his Death Certificate as a 'retired surgeon' but the Hampshire article 1776 is too early to be him as he was born in 1781.   He did live in London for a time though and perhaps the 'Mr. Minors' might be an earlier relative. I'll have to do some sleuthing !

Thanks
Patricia

Parran Ancel MINORS was born in Stratford on Avon about 1776, no Baptism found for him. He was the third of 8 children of Joseph MINORS, variously Peruke Maker, Barber and Butcher and Sarah DUNN.

No baptism found for Parran as for other children at Holy Trinity, Stratford on Avon.

Know of Parran from Wills of his younger brother Joseph MINORS, where Parran and his children are mentioned.

Joseph and Sarah both of Kington/Kineton before their marriage in Holy Trinity at Stratford on Avon in 1772.

Parran's father Joseph MINORS' parents are John MINORS and Anne ANSELL.

Possible theories on Ancell/Ansel/Ansell and Parran connection, none proved to date.
Hope this helps
