Hello,  I have roots back to the O'Brien Brien's of Dunmanway and Kilberry.  DNA confirmation back to
Humphry Brien b. abt 1812 in Kilberry, Dunmanway  Married Mary Lordan b 1823Dunmanway.  Brother was Cornelius Brien b 1825 Married to Ellen Daly. Known children of Humpry/ey were Patrick b 1846, Cornelius, Joan, Humphrey Jr b 1855
Left for US abt 1857/58 for Monroe, Orange co. NY

Anyone else researching Quirk or Quirke of town of Mountcollins?  I am DNA descendant of William Quirk 1814-1879 and Wife Margaret 1820-1895, Will lists William as a shopkeeper.  Son is William Quirk b 1852 who married Ellen Curtin b 1858.   Thank you

Hello,  looking for any local research specifically done on O’Brien/Brien/Lordan families in Kilbarry/Dunmanway.  I have dna, family lore, photos and documents connecting our O’Brien line in US to Kilbarry and Dunmanway Cork. 
Starting with Humphrey Brien b abt 1812 and married Mary Lordan b 1823.  Married feb 1 1845 with known sons Patrick and Cornelius. Family left to US for New York State in about 1855.
