Cheers Mick! from biker Si

Thanks, I just purchased the Annual Worldwide for £89.99.

What surprised me is the payment went through without any input.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Death Certificate
« on: Saturday 18 November 23 11:26 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

I've received a death certificate image recently but half of the cause of death I can't decipher mainly because the image slices a chunk of the first word.

I think 'anginosus' is the second word underneath. The the age of the child who died was 4 years and 6 months

Any help appreciated.

Many thanks,
Simon

Craston and Crayston are surnames often entered confusingly. Both are correct. The Kendal Craston name likely related to Richard Craston of Kendal a line descending from Westmoreland. One of which is my family Craston line Kirkby Lonsdale from c1700.

Hello,

I've not posted this before simply because I made an (half arsed) effort to enhance and made do. The photo is taken from http://www.rvc.me.uk/ringing/Preston/index.htm "The Ringers" section. The peal board right side wall left of the clock has my 3rd GG Edward Craston on bell 6. The event was following Richard Pedder's mayoralty election in Nov 1848.

Newspaper cutting reflecting the wording on the board attached too.

Many thanks
Simon
