I'm not sure either. But from distant memory of ancient Latin, I think Cicero (e.g.) might have put "suam" there, trusting in the gender to make it clear which noun it went with. Taken this way, "suam" puts a kind of emphasis on the fact that the wish is his own.

Why not post the document? No promises, but I studied Ancient Greek and can sometimes make some sense of modern Greek. I think ecclesiastical Greek is different. An Orthodox priest is surely the best bet, but meanwhile …

I thought I saw a dot over what I took to be an i, not an e. The n or perhaps m is joined too; isn’t it just cursive handwriting?

If we’re allowed to talk about C19, I don’t think anyone has mentioned the Irish custom of naming some sons after their maternal grandfathers, with surname as middle name. In my family, not wealthy, it was first son. So he had a middle name. Other sons had no middle name. But I don’t know about generations before the 1840s.
