Hi. I only have access to Ancestry 1921 census in our local library. I could have sworn I found her in the 1921 census but perhaps I am mistaken, if so I apologise again. Thanks for your help again. Do you think that is her death record in 1915?

Thanks for your replies Carole. The marriage was in 1899 Matilda Tipping to Thomas Foster. In the 1891 census she was 45 so yes she would be age 75 years old in 1921.

Hi. I am trying to find the death of Matilda Foster. In the 1921 census she is a widow. Her husband was Thomas Foster. They lived in Hinckley, Leics. Matilda was born in Stoke Golding 1845. She was previously married in 1872 to a Thomas Miller Tipping who died in 1874, Leics. Her maiden name was Bickley. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Hepburn

I was aware of George Blunkett’s many photos of Ber Street taken in the 1930’s ?

Not sure how to work out what number Ber Street applies.

Thanks John.

Yes I visited the building 2 years ago.
Just interested to know if that address is where my mum lived from birth or if they moved in afterwards. Think some of the flats may have been bought now but to me I think the majority are still council owned. All the council could say was that it would have been a prestigious address when they were 1st built.
