Thank you Vance! I could only read some of that. I'm particularly interested in the date: would that be Jan-Mar 1530 of our calendar or theirs? Two of his sons appear in the Letters & Papers complaining about the division of their late father's assets. That was on 28 Dec 1530. 28 Dec. Lansd. MS. 203, f. 197. B. M. 6776. LORD LATYMER. 'Henry VIII: December 1530, 19-28', in Letters and Papers, Foreign and Domestic, Henry VIII, Volume 4, 1524-1530, (London, 1875) pp. 3059-3078. Thank you KGarrad and Vance Mead! I didn't search under Baron or Lord, but under his name, surname and his barony, so basically under Richard Neville and Latimer with several different spellings. In most of the sources he was mentioned as Lord Latimer. An example of that would be the Letters & Papers. From Edward IV to Henry VIII he is called Lord Latimer.

Yorkshire (North Riding) / Richard Neville, 2nd Lord Latimer's will, 1530

Hello!

I've been looking for Richard Neville's will for quite a while and so far no luck. He may be also listed as Nevill, Nevell, Nevyll, Latimer, Latymer, Latemer and Latimore. He is usually referred to as being of Snape. He is supposed to have died in December 1530 at Snape Castle and buried at the parish church at Well. I haven't found any burial records either which is sort of expected due to the date. But he seems to have written a will, which was mentioned by his son John Neville in a letter to Cromwell. I've checked the Testamenta Vetusta and the Testamenta Eboracensia, I've looked at the National Archives and also checked with the Borthwick Institute and the West Yorkshire Archives. The archives couldn't even find any probate records for him, which I believe would exist even if he died intestate. Does anyone have any more ideas of places to look? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you Ladybird and Rob!

@Ladybird: these Cutters are coopers. but I'll definitely look up the Corbridge Cutters. I'll try those registers.
@snowball: I'm checking the Durham database now. I had been looking for some wills in the local FHC, but because of COVID they're only opening once a week. So it's been painfully slow! One of them is Cuthbert Cutter's and I just found it on the Durham database. Thanks so much!

Thank you Hillhurst! Any idea if it there would be any other way to check a bap record that early? Maybe Bishop's Transcripts?

Northumberland / Cutter Family in Newcastle

Hello!

I'm working on some profiles for members of the Cutter family that migrated to New England in the 1630s. We know for sure of a widow, Elizabeth Cutter, one daughter Barbory Cutter and two sons, Richard and William Cutter. They all seem to come from Newcastle upon Tyne. William returned to Newcastle between the 1640s and 1650s. It's been hard to find birth and marriage records for some of them. I'm still researching the identity of the children's father as well. I was wondering if there was anyone working on that family in England. Apart from William's return, records indicate there were other Cutters in the area at the time. Most of the records I found are from All Saints, but some genealogist indicate there were Cutters in Morpeth as well. If there's anyone else studying this family I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you!

Berkshire Lookup Requests / Caversham baptism 1576

Hello!
I've been working on a profile for Alice Atkins (Stevens) on wikitree and I recently came across a birth date for her, without any source attached to it.  I know there's a cd/dvd with the records for St Peter's Parish at Caversham but I'm not sure about the starting year for those records. Would anyone be able to check if this baptism record for her exists or not? The date I have for her baptism is 14 October 1576 in Caversham Heights and her parents would have been Henry Atkins and Christiana Chase.
I thank you in advance for any information either confirming or denying the existence of these records. Thank you!
