Shropshire Lookup Requests / Skidmore Family
« on: Friday 22 August 25 20:45 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I am researching my 3 x great Grandparents John Skidmore born about 1785, from what I can gather he was a Journeyman Hatter of Oswestry, Shropshire. He married Ann Hand/Hands.  They lived in and around Frampton Cotterell Gloucestershire.  I cannot find any marriage, baptisms for him.
They had 3 children Edward Skidmore (1813 - ??), George Skidmore (1818 - 1880 my 2 x great grandfather) and Eleanor Skidmore (1823 - ??)
I would appreciate any help or advice of where to go next, I have a solid brick wall that I cannot even get partly through.
Many thanks

It looks as though Elizabeth died 1814 and buried at St. Mary the Virgin, Aldridge, Staffordshire.

Hi
No grandchildren mention,
I'm presuming Elizabeth died about 1816 as I've just found a second document on the death of Elizabeth that effects to go to Sarah Wadson now married to Thomas Linford.
Unfortunately it will not let me attach the document as they are greater than 900kb, tried individually but it exceeds 500kb.
