Hi Golborne20 - I grew up near to Doris Court, only a few miles up the road. I would pass it often and think of my BM and her time there. May I ask how long Mrs Walsh owned the property, roughly when she sold it, and when it stopped operating as a private nursing home? Did Mrs Walsh raise your husband as a single mum or was she married when she adopted him. Many thanks

Hi Simark, I was also born at Doriscourt, a few years after you. I'm afraid I can't answer your question. As far as I know I was a single birth. However, I've always had a deep rooted feeling I was a twin and grew up constantly asking my mum if I was a twin. May I ask, were you both adopted separately or together?
