Sounds good! I figured that.  That’s a small screen shot of my tree in the attachment on the last reply. What’s nice is I have my Moms Dna ,Dads Dna and my dads- moms dna so I been able to rule things out by crossmatching . My Dads father is also on ancestry but don’t have access to it yet. He lives on the other side of the country and haven’t been able to make my way over there yet to meet him. He’s 90 and not online much.
Elaine Orr who helps manage the Isabelle Boyd - Paul/ Orr family webpage is a 20cm match of my Dads.I also match a few of others to this line and the other maternal lines I mentioned. I just haven’t found any living Boyd’s who have a paper trail to Aghadowey, Coleraine area to compare with .
The rest of my family is all from different regions that I don’t think crossover at all after comparing.

My Dads Biological Grandfather is a Boyd.
I found him on ancestry a couple years ago. We where unknown to each other. His father passed at age 30 and don’t have much passed down. Just what I’ve been able to research through record and comparing dna. I have my line traced Back to John Boyd 1795 B:Va Married Elizabeth Dungan Born 7Mile Ford Smyth, VA .
I mentioned some of this line in an earlier reply. The land mentioned on the OrrFamilyReunion.com site is nothing to do with the mansion. I posted that in an earlier reply as well.
As I mentioned R-U198 is my Ydna Haplo. Which is the noble Boyd line. A nephew of the Last Clan Boyd Chief did a Y test and I share a common ancestor with them and many other Boyds with that haplo in the FTDNA Boyd project. It’s a mystery who the father of my 1795 John Boyd is.
The just have this cluster of dna matches that have trees which point to Aghadowey, Coleraine. The decendants of John Buckles Boyd are my 2nd closest Ydna match in the Ftdna Boyd dna project
We share a common ancestor.
Thanks for clarifying the Mary Semple letters. I appreciate it. Rob Matewsky

Are you familiar or in contact with the Boyd families mentioned in the “
Mary Semple letters “that are in the Book
“ Blair Family of New England” ?
I wonder if there still around and if any would be willing to do a dna test .

This was mentioned on the Orrfamilyreunion.com
Site in regards to the location of the Farm..
Paul Orr was the son of Captain Orr and his wife Mary Faeth. Paul's date of birth is unknown. Because his wife was born in 1765, his birth year is assumed to be close to hers. Paul paid taxes in 1823 on a property in the Townland of Rhee, which is in Aghadowey Parish in the County of Londonderry, near Coleraine.

He married Isabella Boyd and operated a grain mill, which would probably have been on the Aghadowey or Macosquin Rivers. He is said to have been ill-tempered, and he and Isabella separated. She had inherited money from her family, and they divided the property. She got the home and its five acres and two cows. "Paul kept the mill on the Reafs. In later years, he sold it and came to America. His history closes here; no one knows what became

I have a good Paper trail and dna matches that the paper stops at John Boyd B1795 Virginia Wife: Elizabeth  Dungan Born 24 Mar 1798 7Mile Ford , Smyth Co Virginia - John’s birthplace is unknown . One  census record for there son said VA The county’s Changed a bit in that part of VA.
They had a Son Andrew Jackson Boyd whom is my Grandfather other children of there’s include . Francis Boyd-Tankersely,
Charles Duncan BoydB 1818, Martha Boyd- Vermillion.? Dr James Harvey Boyd

Andrew Jackson Boyd Married Sarah Arnold . They lived in Russell Co, Va and moved around a bit after . Ther son Robert Cleveland Boyd was my GF. B 1841 VA d: 9 Mar 1924 Caldwell, Texas
He had a brother  Napoleon Bonaparte Boyd who was born in Alabama and several other siblings. He married Penelope Lemley. And they had a son . Robert Walter Boyd B 10 May 1872 Robertson Co Tennessee d1962 Austin Co Texas.  Married Eliza Lydia Wright. They had a so Walter Willard Boyd my 1st GGF and he has a son Robert Wellington Boyd
My GF.  I suspect John’s ancestor may have migrated through Prince George after 1718 but nothing convincing yet .
The dna matches I have grouped are all female names that seem to tie into my Boyd line . Almost if John Boyd 1795 didn’t have any Uncles or if he did they didn’t have big families. They may have came down through the ShenandoayValley through  Ny from New England  but suspect they came over shortly after the 1718 migration. I have 20 cm matches that point to Isabelle Boyd Orr
And a few lower ones that point to James McGregor , Rachel Blair-Boyd family and Was thinking there is a Gray connection that match the 1718 family close to John Boyd maybe a mother or Grandmother but just a suspicious thought. Somehow these other families from that region tie into my tree as I all my other family’s in my tree are from different geographical locations . I have gone through a lot of names on file from Mike Boyd Historian from Australia and Colin Brooks 1718 Project who runs a Boyd Geneology Group.
I was thinking locating the Property that Isabelle Boyd Orr inherited might help . The one that was Mentioned on the Orr Family Reunion site.
Mike and Colin also mentioned a lot of info in the Blair Family History Book isn’t accurate or proven. I have a connection to the Blair’s as well that seem to tie in somehow. There are a lot of Boyd researchers out there none want to seem to take a YTest.
John Buckles Boyd Family I match on the Y but it could be after the migration to N Ireland where we have a common ancestor. Thanks for your help . I would recommend the Boyd IO group that Colin runs as Mike Boyd Historian is always looking to add more families to his Book and collection and Collin also is a 1718 Researcher . Maybe some collaboration could help all of us and Boyds families searching for there ancestors.

My Y haplo is R-U198 Noble Boyd line. I seem to match the Orr Family Paul and Isabelle Orr and think she is a Great Aunt. I also seem to match the defendants of the Gray and Mary Boyd Mcgregor came to NH . Has anyone located the property mentioned in the will on the Orr site for Isabelle Boyd-Orr. If you have any info on this family o please message me . I also have Matches with Rachel Boyd Blair’s  decendants . I was suspecting maybe a potential connection to Rev William Boyd but who knows . I understand there where a lot of Boyd’s but the more I research the dna it seems to have a specific connection to these families that are Reverends.
“John Buckles Boyd of Ballymena” , I Y match the decendants but it could be closer to  a 16th century common ancestor.
