Hi, I think this is an old thread but anyhow. My paternal Grandmother Caroline Cassidy ran a private nursing home at 33 Percy Place, Dublin . She was a registered Midwife, married to John Charles Cassidy, 7 children including my late Dad Desmond Cassidy born in 1934. Unmarried mother's would go and have their babies there I have a photo of my grandad 'Charles' as he preferred to be called sat in the garden there and my Dad holding a rabbit in the garden.
