Flintshire / Schools in Flint, Flintshire about 1910 - 1925

I am going to try and look for school records for my grandmother.  She was born in Flint, Flintshire in 1910.  I believe that the records will be held in the Flintshire Records Office, but first I need to work out which school she would have been at.  What schools were available in Flint around 1900 - 1925 and what ages would she have been at school during this period?
Thanks
Mike

Sligo / Re: Margaret or Bridget Horne/Horen possibly from Sligo

Hi
Thanks for that.  Unfortunately I do not have any marriage records for her.  I think that she must have got married in Ireland.  She is showing as either the head of the family or as a widow on the UK census's

Sligo / Margaret or Bridget Horne/Horen possibly from Sligo

I am researching two names.  They may be the same person.  Margaret Horne is on the 1851 census born in 1797 in Ireland.  Then I have Bridget Horn on the 1841 census born in 1801 in Ireland, Bridget Horne on the 1861 census born in 1801 in Ireland, Bridget Horen on the 1871 census born in Sligo Ireland.  They appear to have a daughter Margaret born in 1833 in Ireland who married Michael Connelly also from Ireland, possibly Roscommon.  I have found members of both families living in areas around Woverhampton on census's in areas such as St Peters Square, Tin Shop Yard, Tin Shop Passage, Clarks Building, Charles Street and North Street.  I am trying to trace the Irish roots of these two families in particular Margaret/Bridget.  Has anyone else come across these families?

Flintshire / Mumforth Street in Flint

Does anybody have any information or photographs of Mumforth Street in Flint.  I remember my grandmother living there until it was demolished in the mid 1960s and she was moved to the flats but I know very little else about the street.

Yes, all a bit odd.  Hopefully when the marriage certificate arrives it will clear it up.

I have ordered her marriage certificate.  Hopefully that will help.
