He was married to my Great Great Grandmother in 1925 but died in the hospital in 1929, I’m really intrigued to find out what happened in those four years.
I will contact the Cheshire archives to see if they’ve got any more information.
He married Maud Stevenson on 26th March 1925 in Stoke on Trent, they both lived in Hanley - Frank at 12 Coleridge Road and Maud at 14 Coleridge Road, so it looks like they were neighbours. The marriage certificate says his Dad was called Jack Clarke and Mauds Dad was called James Stevenson.
His Death certificate says he died at Cheshire County Mental Hospital on 26th November 1929. He was registered on his death certificate as living at 98 Mill Street, Crewe (I think he lived with his grandfather who was a hairdresser and shopkeeper). His Brother W Clarke of 16A Mill Street, Crewe was the informant of the death.
