Thank you. Yes I found a really interesting article here;
https://www.rcpe.ac.uk/sites/default/files/davis.pdf

He was married to my Great Great Grandmother in 1925 but died in the hospital in 1929, I’m really intrigued to find out what happened in those four years.

I will contact the Cheshire archives to see if they’ve got any more information.
I have looked on Cheshirebmd and Freebmd and can't find a marriage for Frank in Cheshire in 1925 - where and who'm did he marry ?   was it in Liverpool ???

He married Maud Stevenson on 26th March 1925 in Stoke on Trent, they both lived in Hanley - Frank at 12 Coleridge Road and Maud at 14 Coleridge Road, so it looks like they were neighbours. The marriage certificate says his Dad was called Jack Clarke and Mauds Dad was called James Stevenson.

His Death certificate says he died at Cheshire County Mental Hospital on 26th November 1929. He was registered on his death certificate as living at 98 Mill Street, Crewe (I think he lived with his grandfather who was a hairdresser and shopkeeper). His Brother W Clarke of 16A Mill Street, Crewe was the informant of the death.

I hope someone is able to help. I’m trying to track down my Great Great Grandfather. His name was Frank Clarke. He died on 17th November 1929 at age 31 from Dementia Paralytica at the Cheshire County Mental Hospital. I have a copy of his death certificate but I wondered if the hospital records would show anything else up? If anyone is able to help, I would really appreciate it.
