Hello All

I am looking for a John Gordon who arrived in the West Indies in 1826 from Aberdeenshire (Auchterless).
Does anyone have have in information on how to try and track this person down and how or where  they may have left Scotland.

Thank you for looking up this information. Amazing. However, John Gordon appears to still be elusive and perhaps a dead-end. Hopefully I will be able to discover where or when he was born. I don't think I'll be able to trace in in the West Indies. Does anyone have any tips or ways of doing this?

 I am located in Canada and I am trying to locate someone who would be willing to lookup the Kirk Session records for Auchterless or Forgue. The record would be for a Christian Sim, who had a son named John William Gordon, born 10th Oct 1826 in Forgue or Auchterless. The father is listed as John William Gordon. I am trying to find out more information about the father and his family.
