Family History Beginners Board / Re: Entry in baptism records for baseborn child

Thank you for making me look again at the marriage (23.11.1800 at Nonnington) , so whilst no reference to age, I have just noticed that one of witnesses was a John Jarvis!
The other witness was Ann Foord who I assume is related to the groom, Abraham Foord (from Eastry) - though his origins are a puzzle for another day!
I think my next step will be to look at John Jarvis and see if I can find any connections.
I just found it difficult to make sense of the baptism record, compared with entries for other baseborn children it was confusing as to whether Baxter or Jarvis was surname of mother or father.
Anyway, thank you, at least I now have another direction for my search!
