Hi Luella and Thanks for the bump.  Busy month.

I am interested in both Sarah TUCK marriage to YOUNGS and JACKSON just for sake of clarity of events.  Yes, she is illeg. dau of Hannah TUCK.  I also see in my notes this:  Sarah Tuck's father's name was professed to be James Hooton-farmer. His name appears on her marriage certificate to John Jackson in 1837.  Do you concur?

WOW suffolk*sue,

That may indeed be the gal.  H[E]ARD, Lidia = Lydia.  And there is both a John and a Lydia in the children.

Did you have a link to share at least to the front load of this site?  Is this the GREEN background site?

Thanks so much for your find AND post.

Cambridgeshire / GREEN / HEARD families in CAMB - Help tracking HEARD
« on: Thursday 05 February 09 22:44 GMT (UK)  »
I have a Lydia HEARD marriage to one William GREEN, January 1, 1816, Witcham, Isle of Ely - Cambridgeshire - ENGLAND and can find no other information on Lydia and her family.  This is what I can glean thus far.  I descend through Jane Elizabeth GREEN, who married my GGF William TUCK Sept 1856 in Upwell, NFK.

I would dearly love to find anything about this HEARD family at all, either for that matter but especially the HEARD line.

Thanks so very much in advance,

Doug

Norfolk Lookup Requests / TUCK family lookup 1841 Census
« on: Thursday 11 May 06 18:24 BST (UK)  »
Greetings,

First time request so hope protocal is up to snuff.

I am looking for a Reuben Tuck b 1814 in Downham?, who married abt 1838 , who eventually shows up with a dau Jane b 1844 who is 7 years old on the 1851 Census living on Wisbach Rd.

Believe this Reuben is son of Thomas Tuck b 1790 and Elizabeth Youngs b 1793 married 1813 in Upwell.

I cannot find a wife for this Reuben son marriage.  LDS site shows Mrs Reuben Tuck only.  She is missing on 1851 Census.

Any help would be appreciated.

Doug
