gaffy, do you think this looks right? the spelling of Steacy is wrong also why would the marriage say Railway worker if he was in the army?

why, on the army document, would Joseph state his mother's name as "Kane" and not Steacy, unless the parents weren't married or that Anastasia had remarried a Kane?

Hi, hope you can help me (again), trying to trace my grandfather's (Thomas Steacy, Kilkenny 1912) grandfather.
Thomas' fathers name was Joseph and he married Eliza Kiely, however i don't have any solid info on Joseph's parents.
I have Joseph's army documents that mention a sister called Sarah and a mother listed as Anatasia Kane and the marriage document mentions a father called Robert. but no luck finding documentation linking Robert and Anastasia, or any further back.
Can you assist. TIA
