Hey. I’ve just come across a street that I can’t locate in any maps.

Thursday street in Miles platting Manchester. Does anyone know where this was located? It will have been around the 1950’s

World War Two / Can anyone help. Trying to locate information.

Hi. This is my first post so please let me know if this is not in the correct place.

I am searching for my partners grandad, more specifically a photograph however I can’t find his military records. I have a document that he complied in the 50’s to gain a copy of his discharge documents. This has his rank and states he was in the pioneer corps. It also has his number on it.

I have searched the IWM, ancestry and the other links available for free searches. I have come up with nothing. I know this is a stab in the dark but can anyone help? I am able to provide the information I have or take on board any suggestions which may assist my search.
