Thank you for all your help. Very confusing with two Henry Wrights with sons called Thomas and wives called Annie,  both living close to each other.
Have now sorted out our two Wright families and I知 happy to help Ozjen as I知 living here and able to easily research her Tommy Wright.

Hi , I知 currently researching this family as I have just discovered that my relative was Henry Wright痴 ( Tommy痴 father) second wife. She was called Annie Mary nee Elliott.
They had a sonJames Elliott Wright who would have been Tommy痴 half brother.
I have already found out about Tommy痴 sister, Jane ( Moneypenny) and by coincidence I actually live within a mile of Ballylisk!
I would like to find out more about the family, especially James.

Hi Louise, I知 excited too!
I just love family history and helping people find a trace of their ancestors.
A lovely person I met on this site helped me immensely in my search so I知 only too happy to do the same.
You were very close when you were at the crossroads and yes the house was knocked down. I remember the derelict house as does my husband who has lived here virtually all his life.
There were Joyce daughters who married locally and I can put you in touch with their descendants.
Please do email me - I tell you more then.
Kind regards, Elaine

Thanks Kiltaglassan, great suggestions.

Wilson853,
My family always said that there were three Patton brothers who came here from Scotland.
I wonder if we share the same line?

Hi wilson853,
I知 a descendant of the Pattons from Carrickananny ( my grandmother was called Eva Patton.)
I知 currently researching my family tree and we might be able to help each other.
My great grandfather was George Patton ( born 1855) and his father was also called George.
My great Uncle Willie was the last to own the family farm at Carrickananny and I知 still in touch with his daughter.
