Hampshire & IOW Lookup Requests / Nursling Parish
« on: Monday 11 June 07 13:58 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
Has anyone got access to the parish records for Nuraling? I am interested in the Barber family. I have a Sarah Frances Barber born approx 1789 at Nursling. Her parents were William and Ann. Are there any of her siblings baptised there or were her parents married there? I think she had a brother called William as there is a Barber family noted in the 1851 census at Nursling whose husband/father was William.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Kerry / 1911 census kilbonane parish (kerry)

Can someone please help me find information on the Hogan family. The townland in the 1901 census was Lissavane east for daniel, patrick, maggie and hannah hogan. I cannot find this townland in the index for the 1911 census for county kerry irelaND.
Can someone please look up the census for the parish of Kilbonane and see if this townland has been amalgamated with another and if the Hogan family were still there.

Thankyou, cowcher.

Kerry / Hogans in kerry - Near Milltown
« on: Wednesday 19 April 06 13:40 BST (UK)  »
I am seeking any information on a Hogan family. They show up on the 1901 census in the Parish of Kilbonane in the Townland of Lissavane East. Head of the house was Daniel Hogan, his brother Patrick, sister Maggie and Daniels daughter Hanna aged 4. Her mother was Elizabeth Tangney and had died sometime previous. Other brothers and sisters had migrated to Australia.
The parents were Patrick Hogan and Johannah Horgan who are both buried in the Killagha Abbey cemetery in Milltown.
Any info on them or any relatives would be greatly received.

Thankyou

Midlothian / Re: Lookup for a David Watt, Edinburgh
« on: Wednesday 19 April 06 13:18 BST (UK)  »
Jeff,

My father in law was David Wishart Watt and he was born in Edinburgh in 1920. His father was Dashwood Wishart Watt born/baptised 2 April 1875 in Leith, Midlothian (from LDS). His parents were David Wishart Watt and Maria Parsons. Could this be the same David Wishart Watt you are looking for?
From the latter Day Saints I also found an Agnes Gordon Watt b 24 Jan 1863, daughter of David Wishart and Elizabeth Gordon, Leith.

There are others in the family. David Wishart Watt married 3 times and had many children. Hope this may help you. Please reply if this info is relevant.
