Captain Alexander Camron Richardson was the son of James Richardson and Catharine Cameron, and the grandson of William Richardson and Nancy Jagger. When Alexander c Richardson was born on 10 November 1884 in York, Yorkshire, his father, James, was 39 and his mother, Catherine, was 29. He lost his father when he was only 6 years old. He married Ethel Dorothy Goldsmid-Stern Salomons in 1915. His family are said to be in the brewery business, Richardson breweries, though the marriage of Cameron and Ethel seemed to start fine having two kids, Yvonne and Don Richardson, eventually the marriage ended on bad terms. There are no known photographs of Cameron, or any of the Richardson family apart from Don and Yvonne, as he was removed from all photographs by Ethel by either being scratched out or cut.
Don married Winy Richardson, they were married in Newcastle. Don and Winnie lived in a house in Darras Hall, Ponteland, until they moved then moved down south to 19 Compton Lodge, Compton palace road, Eastbourne. Don died around 1998, Winnie was born 1st of june 1919 and died on the 24th january 2018. although they did not have any children, they remained very close with the rest of the Clarke family (winnifred's family) who had 2 sisters, Magret (Peggy) Sinclair (my great grandmother) and Kathleen clarke. Winnifred also had a brother called Alf. Donald and Yvonne both added to the Salomons museum collection in later years: Donald contributed to the purchase of Reggie's uniform, and Yvonne gave a print of Sheriff Salomons (and Donald's widow, Winifred, donated a signet ring that had belonged to Philip Salomons.)
