Hi Jim
I don’t know if you are still looking for these photographs, I realise that the original post was from a while back. I managed to photograph the ones in the Northern Cemetery and will look in the General Cemetery at some point this week. I have found a map showing all the war graves there. It’s quite overgrown in parts, so I’m not sure what it will be like.
Best wishes
Joy

Hello Pinetree

I appreciate that your post was from some time ago. Did you find out any more information? I live fairly near to the cemetery, so would be happy to look for the area where the grave is and take a photo if you wish. However, I don't have a map of the location of the compartments, do you have one?  I can't see one online (there is one of the Northern Cemetery).

Regards, Joy

I visited the cemetery yesterday and think that I have some photos of the area.  I found a grave marked   No. 17 Compartment 216, so I took pictures of the surrounding area.  No problem if you have already had your request sorted out, I realise that your post was from some time ago!

I live in Hull and would be happy to look if you can share the exact location of the plot as it's quite a big cemetery.

Hull Bereavement Services is still in operation as I have needed to contact them, though the office is closed for people to attend in person I think.  Try them on 01482 614976 or email them on: bereavement.services[AT]hullcc.gov.uk

Just let me know what you find and I'll see what I can do. :)

Good morning Joyner1
Did you get a photo of your ancestor's grave? I live near this cemetery and would be happy to look if you didn't get one last time.   :)
