Wexford / Re: Hess, Seabrook, from Old Ross

Thanks for the tips. I did find the family on a ships list, listed as roman catholic , and part of an immigrant group. However they never called themselves that in canada. I would really like to read these books. That shall be my next search! Apparently our Seabrook connection had a father and brother killed in Scullabogue.

Henry Walter Clayson Button b. June 1884, Cranbrook married [in 1910] Alice Kate Evenden b. about 1888 probably of same area.

Could someone please do a 1891 census lookup as I am looking for names of parents and possible siblings.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

the Nanaimo Family History Society is currently transcribing passenger lists from from 1907 to 1910 but there are a lot of Scottish Moffats on there. Indexed searches.

Thanks, will have to look at that. I found a number of people with the same name and dates so may have to check them one by one to see who the parents are.

On the 1901 census,Harold Edwards is listed as nephew, age 1, born in Bradford and living with the family of William J. and Emma Daley and their four children, also living in Bradford. Who were his parents and what became of him? Emma's sister married Caleb Edwards but she was widowed in 1894 so could this be her child born of one parent? ::)
