Hi Bobby. I am helping someone find their bio dad. I believe their bio nan is your grandad’s sister. They match one of Gilder’s grandchildren as a second cousin

By coincidence Ive returned to this family line today, after some time.  Yes Melie (Amelia), Jimmy, Natty born 1921 (Nathaniel), Volie , Gilder (Gilderoy).  Also  William, Jimmy and Rhoda. Parents were William Smith and Dinah Hoskins. Dinah's parents were Mosiah and Mary Ann Hoskins, nee Davies.  Mary Ann lived by my great great granny Mary Ann Roberts in Aberkenfig, near Bridgend at one point. Mosiah's parents Thomas Boswell and Esther Hodgkins/Hoskins.

The name Johns was used because Esther Hoskins (born 1881 and died 1962 in the Forest of Dean, daughter of Mosiah and Mary Ann) , married William Johns. William died at Ash cottage in Trowgreen.
hi I think this is my dads family ,natty was my grandad and he had 11 kids ,job ,Amos ,Mary ,cybil ,Herbert are the names I no .
Natty smith was with Cassie ?and natty smiths mum was Bella davies ? Do you have these names in your smiths ?

Hi Jerry, do you have contact details? I am helping someone finding their bio dad & believe their bio nan is your grandad’s sister.

Apologies yes the 1913 was a hint I discarded. On findmypast it shows birth years on the parish marriage record

On the marriage record to Annie Burden the marriage record is registered in Croydon & says he is born in 1908. But on the 1939 census record it says he is born in 1913. I think the way forward with this could be at the moment a dna test to narrow down the correct Eastwood line. The Burden line we have though as we both know cousins descending from the family

Trying to narrow down a William Eastwood & Thomas Eastwood to the family they descend from. William was born 08/05/1908. His dad was Thomas & he married a Burden I believe. Thomas died in 1930 or before as on William’s marriage certificate it says deceased hawker. William was a hawker as well.

Enoch, we have in later records using the name Smith, which was Naomi's maiden name, so for whatever reason, Abraham & Enoch stopped using the names Parker/Draper & chose Smith.

Amy - just that she was a Loveridge. I imagine from the same Loveridge family Abraham descends from as well. The descendants of Abraham & Amy know other descendants of Abraham's relatives quite well & have pictures of their ancestors together so yep I think this one definitely coroborates for sure.
