Thanks. I did watch the presentation. 'Loved the way Liz Gillis set up the context and explained the 3rd Battalion's connection to St. Andrew's CBS and the area.

Thanks, I understand the meaning of the word "donor" in the general sense but wondered what it meant in the context of Thomas FitzGerald being a donor?

'Just registered with Rootschat and found this thread about Mary Josephine FitzGerald. Theo FitzGerald was my grandfather and I have been doing some family research. I seem to remember reading that Mary Josephine suffered from mental illness and was in a hospital in Dublin by that time. I think I read it in Great grandfather Thomas FitzGerald's application for a dependent's pension after Leo's death in the Bureau of Military History.
