Wow!  Hi all!  I should have commented on here sooner! :D

Kiltaglassan - thank you, I couldn't find that date for Lizzie.

Gaffy - thank you for the other children - I thought there were more, but had struggled to find them.

James McCully - thank you for fixing my date and the nice newspaper write up :D

Marcus Scott - Thank you, I lose everyone once they leave the UK!

JACK GEE - oooh! I wonder if this is a new/unknown cousin?  I like a mystery! :D
James was my Great Great Grandfather
I am trying to find out more about James, his parents and if he had any siblings (e.g. Joseph and his family
who also lived in Derrylane - I have added as siblings for now, but cannot prove the connection.)

Re James (I didn't know he was referred to as Jim) - I have the record from proni.gov.uk which says:
"Administration (with the Will) of the Estate of James Fulton late of Derrylane County Londonderry
Farmer who died 19 November 1908 granted at Londonderry to James McCully Fulton Farmer."
This probate was officially recorded in April 1909.

Mary Muriel/Muriel May - no idea...
Muriel has been used a lot in our family but which order would be correct I don't know.

Sarah Jane - Irvine could be another ancestral surname (you may have noticed they are used
repeatedly in later generations - I think this is a Scottish thing as so much of my Scottish family
do this?) I look forward to finding out.

Lillie Ann - thank you for the date :D

James McCully (from National Probate Index 1948)
"of Oatlands Myroe county Londonderry died 29 March 1948 Probate Londonderry to James Fallows farmer and
Kathleen Cherry Fulton widow.  Effects £457 10s. in England.  Sealed London 27 October"
   So yes, Cherry.

JACK, you angel!  Giving me confirmation that Thomas is my GGG GF and a date has now found me my GGG GM!
Elizabeth McCamish - married 1835 at Tamlaght (where family still reside!)
Fantastic stuff! :D :D :D

Balnacree/Elizabeth - thank you so much for filling in so many blanks for me! My mum often spoke of various cousins, but she never knew how they were related to us... so many of those familiar names are here!  I can't wait to start digging and see where I end up now!
My Grandmother was Anna Moncrieff Brown.
I will see what I have to do to be able to PM x  Are you also a cousin?

Thank you ALL! SO VERY much! :D :D :D xxx

Hi Balnacree

Not sure if you are still looking - but I am and found myself here... Joseph Fulton was my Great Grandfather.

Son of James (29/04/1838 - 19/11/1908, Dungiven) and Jane Scott (abt. 1848 - 04/12/1929, Londonderry)
James, Son of Thomas.... and there I am stuck.

Joseph's Siblings:
Sara Jane (08/05/1879, Derrylane - )
Marcus Scott (Rev) (06/03/1881, Derrylane - )
Lizzie (abt. 1885 - ) married Henry Allan Keys
Lillie Ann (Dec 1886 - 05/11/1961)
Emma (13/07/1888, Dungiven - 31/01/1960, Owenbeg) married George Dallas
James McCully (02/03/1891, Dungiven - 29/03/1948, Limavady) married Kathleen Cherry Conn

Joseph (17/05/1877 Derrylane - 09/01/1950) married Barbara Moncrieff Brown (28/09/1884, Dundee - 09/04/1969, Ballykelly)
Children: George Moncrieff, Anna Moncrieff Brown, Joseph Jellicoe, Barbara Isobel, Janet Scott, Mary Muriel Patricia

If you ever found out more about Thomas or Jane Scott, please let me know?  I am trying to find any of their siblings to see if I can match up with some cousins from the area.  Thank you
