My grandfather was Anthony McGillivray who came to Canada in 1897 from Bognie. He lived in Winnipeg and worked on the railroad. He was killed in a train accident in 1930. He had 6 children with Mary Stirling. James Fraser McGillivray was my father b 1912 d 1997.
How far back do you have the family living at Bognie? Did they live at Shogle before that or is that a different McG family? Id be very interested to learn about that. Thank you!
