hi folks have only started looking into my grandfather he was called john fitzsimmons im wondering if any one has came across his name from co. kildare. its my understanding he was imprisoned and that story in family is that his brother poss f. fitzsimmons was a guard in the gaol at same time. now i dont know if this is folklore etc but would really like help/guidance the best way i could go about finding out if this really happened. thanks
