In further review this may not be my GGF as he was born in 1840 and died 1883.
Jones being a very common name complicates research on him.

I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather who was a Liverpool Pilot.
His name is Charles Henry Jones.
In 1871 he was a journeyman Pilot.
In 1881 he was a Special Steam Pilot.
In 1883 he was a Pilot on #1 Pilot Ship Liverpool
In 1883 he was taken from the Pilot ship to Amlwch Cottage Hospital where he died.
If you have any further access to information I would be. Most grateful.

Is anyone aware if the Cottage Hospital, Amlwch is still standing? As seen in previous posts my great grandfather died their in 1883. I would be interested to know what remains of the hospital

Pemus, my father was born in Aston and a Villa fan until he died.
