Thank you for your replies :)

Unfortunately Frank Treling died in 1930.

I'll look into the MOD as I've only been able to find a relative on the NA.

Thanks again :)

Hi
I'm hoping for help with late Father-in-Law Raymond Treling born 22 April 1925 Wirral Cheshire - died 9 Jun 1988 Ormskirk Lancs.
He lived in + married in Liverpool during the 40s + 50s. I have 3 medals for him -
The 1939-1945 Star
The France & Germany Star
1939-1949 War Medal
The only information I have regarding his military service is a clip from his first wife's death certificate (attached) in 1946.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Regards
Deb

Hi
I'm probably way off with this reply (I'm not great with army stuff  :-[ ) but your post intrigued me + I like a puzzle  :)

On Edward Jones' Medal + Award Roll there is also John Jones + George Edwin Jones - the same regiment + same dates of theatres of war served.

There is a family on the 1911 census - address 69 Furley St, Peckham, Camberwell London

Head: Henry Jones 48 - Soho London
Wife: Ellen Jones 43 - Chelsea London
Son: John Jones 20 - Chelsea London
Son: Edward Jones 18 - Chelsea London
Son George Jones 12 - Peckham London

It's probably not your Edward Jones but just a coincidence that I had fun looking into :)

Lisa,

After reading the order instructions I've bit the bullet + ordered the record :)

Whether it is or isn't her stars all round!  ;D

Hi Lisa,

I'm referencing the Mary Brown Anderson death in 1929 Glenreagh.

The archives replied explaining the number 24 for place of birth, is Scotland.

So this record you found is looking more + more likely it may be our Mary :)

I've asked how long a digital image of a death record takes to receive (hopefully straight away!) + think I may order it :)

You've been soooo helpful + if it is her you're an absolute star! :)

Hi Lisa
Well that looks closer than anything I've yet found :)
I've messaged the archives as I don't quite understand the code numbers particularly in column 7 -
'YB' = Year of Birth
'PB' = Place of Birth - Mary B Anderson has number 24
Hopefully they may be able to clarify :)
Fingers crossed!
I'm going to try any directories for that year too!
Thank you! :)
Deb
